We have received our second round of engagement pictures! We feel so blessed that we were able to take these with such a talented and wonderful person. Michael Popp is the brother of an amazing friend Erin. He is just getting started in the professional photography world, but he has more natural talent then anyone we have met. We can't thank the entire Popp family enough for their help and support during this special time! Here are some of our favorites from the day.

MY TURN!
Justin did a great job introducing Farand and telling all of you about what makes him so awesome! I just couldn't resist adding a little of my own version of our groomsman, FARAND!
Farand and I met, like Justin said, in a calc class at Chapman. I of course could not remember Farand's name for the life of me (you have to admit he has an unique name!) so me and my friends would call him Soccer Boy. Little did I know, Farand and his buddies gave me my very own nickname (for those of you not familiar with this clan of boys, nicknames are very serious, I'm not sure Farand has ever called me Brittany actually). Farand and I quickly became friends studying together and making fun of our teachers who were seriously easy targets. Once I became a math major drop-out, Farand and I began our lunch date tradition. We had such a blast trying out fun places to eat and catching up on all the drama :) Farand has always been there for me and we have been always had such a blast together. Like Justin said we have been to concerts, sporting events and on road trips together. We are all looking forward to when Farand becomes a big time doctor and he can take us poor teachers on Farand and I's "bucket list" of vacations. Love you Far-Bear!!!

Wedding Party Member of the Week #14
We continue this week with an addition to the list of groomsman……
Farand!!!
It has been up for debate whether or not Farand would be a groomsman or a bridesmaid, because we are both SO close to Farand. Brittany and Farand met in a math class back in the Fall of 2004, about a week after Justin and Farand met at preseason soccer camp. Since then, the friendships have blossomed to dinner dates, rounds of golf, and even road trips!
When picking the wedding party, the only drama with Farand was, like I said before, whether or not he would be in the bride’s side or the groom’s side. We are so fortunate to know a guy like Farand. He is one of the most generous and kind people I know. He is genuine and caring, and a definite contender for The Bachelor! The guys tease him for being friends with all the girls, when really they’re always just jealous. He’s friends with all the girls, but single and ready to mingle! He falls under the category of nice guys finish last, so ladies, if you’re interested, please let us know so we can arrange a meeting!
Farand is currently attending Southern California University of Health Sciences where he is studying to become a Doctor of Chiropractic, perhaps even a Chiropractic Sports Physician! He’s super smart, and is no doubt going to be a terrific doctor. Farand and I played soccer together at Chapman for three years. While I have since retired to coaching, Farand still gets out there and can run with the big boys. He also enjoys golf, Vegas, fantasizing with me about National Treasure and hanging out with his friends. Farand is the ultimate friend, an awesome person, and a tremendous individual. Thank you, Farand, for agreeing to be in our wedding!

Technical Difficulties
I can not for the life of me figure out why some of those pictures are turned around! I give up.....my advice is to turn your computer to the side to see the adorableness of Holli and I :)
WPMW #13
Alright ladies and gentlemen this one was definitely worth the wait, drum roll please....now introducing our Wedding Party Member of the Week lucky #13:
Holli!!!
Holli and I have been friends, basically sisters, for over twenty years (I must say that makes me feel pretty old to admit)! I can't imagine my life or our wedding without her in it. So many of my memories, especially childhood ones, include Holli and her wonderful family. We grew up just two houses down from each other and spent every waking moment causing ruckus on good ol' Moratalla Terrace. Some of our favorite activities were convincing people that we were Siamese twins by squeezing in to our dad's giant sweatshirts and racing around in our super sweet barbie cars. We also took time to delight our families with fabulous singing and dancing performances.
Holli and I have always had so much in common, not just our blonde hair and blue eyes :) We both love our San Diego sports teams, dancing (we really have improved) and having a blast with each other.
As Holli and I grew up, we were able to maintain our friendship despite everything life threw at us, including short and long distance moves. Holli has always been there for me no matter what, and I know she always will be. Now that we are both adults, with real life responsibilities, it gets harder and harder to spend time together. However, Holli was actually the last friend I saw before me and Justin were engaged. We both were at the Angels vs. Padres game and randomly bumped in to each other. How special to see her right before such a life changing moment!

GUESS WHAT?!!!
We received our very first wedding present!!!! We have been so blessed to be completely spoiled by our friends in family the last eight months of our engagement, but I at least considered all of those engagement presents. But this my friends is an actual wedding gift! like from the registry!! Woo hoo! I love the positive reminders that we are getting married!!!! (BTW it was a set of beautiful sheets, oh yes its that exciting!)
In other news, the Joye family has a new member of the clan....an adorable puppy named..........umm I'll get back to you on that. She is so stinkin cute and we are so excited to have her (well everyone but Purrdey). I hope you all can meet her soon!
And as promised I am working on the WPMW and it will be up later (sometime during the bachelor finale I'm sure, go team Tenley!)
